Just a quick announcement that we are adding a new member to our leadership team: Liavelle Sailmet. Formerly of the Void Hounds, we are happy to incorporate Liavelle into our organizational structure so as to get some valuable insight from our VH friends who recently joined us.

Liavelle, while being a prolific member of the FFXIV community and participating in most content avidly, will have two volunteering specialties with the Free Company. First, Liavelle will be our dedicated consumable supplier for our progression raid team, and any future progression teams that may form. Our Varsity team is thrilled to welcome her services: we are broke as hell from food and potions!

In addition, for the time being Liavelle will be our go-to roleplaying event/scene coordinator. We have recently incorporated many members who made in-character content one of their passions in Eorzea. To better serve them Lia will be announcing periodic in-character scenarios that our members can opt-into, and several other players from outside the FC in the Lorekeepers RP linkshell will also be present. These events are great opportunities to interface with the greater Brynhildr population, as well as giving us fun, casual, no-stress event outlets.  The first event was held last Saturday, the theme was Campfire Stories. Five or six Stabbies were in attendance, and we met a few other players outside the FC for a relaxing night of casual improvised conversing and emoting. Please watch for the next events via Discord #rp channel or the FC Calendar, as they don’t have a regularly scheduled meeting time.

Thank you again, Stabbies. Every time we get an new professor I am reminded that when we have lots of hands on deck, we are able to offer so many opportunities to our members.

Regardless, let’s have a lot of fun grinding crystals endlessly and leveling up our characters to the eventual completion of relic weapons and armor which may or may not be best-in-slot gear.

Okay, so why should you attend our brand-new academy-sponsored Eureka Farm Night? Why, because it’s hosted by our brand-new Professor the irreplaceable Hunter Breeze! He will lead us to victory, experience, crystals and relics, with an upbeat and cheerful attitude! Furthermore, drinking away your sorrows will be had by all in the Voice Chat, bring your own booze!

Just an announcement regarding a recent promotion: Genesis Nebul has graciously offered to host and run a new club meeting. Weekly on Sunday Evenings at 8:30pm CST will be the meeting of the 24-man Raid Club. Get your weekly tokens and drops with people you know and can trust, and watch the other alliances lol wipe as <Doink> seamlessly carries the whole raid, under the fearless leadership of Professor Genesis!

Please make plans to attend if you are interested and congratulate Genesis on her promotion. The Academy thanks her for her contribution!

Everyone please welcome our newest Professor, Miss Ravella, DPS extraordinaire, treasure hunter and friend of furry creatures. In addition to meeting the level and ilvl requirements [60 and i255 until 4.1], she has volunteered to take over the website blog from Headmistress Kela, which will be her charitable time contribution for the FC.

Kela will be switching her focus to PR and recruitment. Initiatives include her typical upkeep of Facebook, Reddit and Discord recruitment connections, soliciting and updating testimonials, promotional game capture videography, member surveys and active in-game recruitment.

Meanwhile Ravella will be in charge of all news reporting on club meetings and events. This means all Club officers who host events (and anyone who attends events as willing) will be responsible for getting Ravella screenshots and brief synopses of how events were received in order for the blog to report your successes! Please make sending media to Ravella for posting a high priority.
