Congratulations to our Progression Static as they clear the first floor of the Raiding Tier Alphascape, as released in patch 4.4 Prelude in Violet.

Junior Varsity Raiders complete Alphascape

The first official meeting of the Junior Varsity raiding team in patch 4.4 Prelude in Violet was a rousing success! Lead by Club Officer Hunataru, assisted by two additional members of our raiding static Sukutak and Ricola and endgame expert Sylva, three members obtained first-time clears of the new raiding content: Ponyo, Ricmorn and Volescu! Congratulations to all involved.

For those interested in more challenging content, but want a non-toxic low-pressure environment in which to learn, JV raid is the club for you! Hunataru leads and explains mechanics which he mastered as a member of the Varsity raid, and other static members assist to help assure those first-time clears. As the patch progresses and the leadership aquires more experience in the new instances, we expect to host learning parties for Suzaku Extreme and Alphascape Savage.

Captain Samurai: Gallen downs God Kefka, Earns New Title

On behalf of the Nymian Royal Academy I, Headmistress Kekela nym Kela Lady of Requiem and Patroness of Scholars, hereby do grant the rank of (Varsity) Team Captain upon Gallen Korrinal for his excellence in Savage Raiding as exemplified in his recent defeat of God Kefka in Omega: Sigmascape v4.0 (Savage) on this Fourteenth day of June in the year Two Thousand and Eighteen.

Keep up the good work Gallen, leading the way for the rest of the Free Company in terms of Savage raiding. We all look at your example!

Anyone who clears this savage instance will receive this special title until the end of patch 4.4.

Synched Raiders Down Melusine in the Coil of Bahamut Turn 7

After many weeks of attempting their most complex fight yet, the Synched Raiding club finally bested the terrible Melusine in Second Coil turn 2 also known as Turn Seven. Renauds got stoned and players tried their best not to flash each other and after executing a complex dance of pain, the evil gorgon of the Shroud was downed. And there were much Fending drops, yay!

 

The clearing team consisted of Danye and Cerys tanking, Kela and guest healer Bob returning to heal, and Ponyo, Korodi, Hunter and Max on DPS. Please see the five minute clear video to show our loyal returning participants some affection!

Going in Blind: Royal City of Rabanastre

Patch 4.1 just dropped and right away the Stabbies ventured in to the new 24-man raid: the Royal City of Rabanastre! Not only did our brave adventurers jump right in to the new raid, but they did so BLIND. No videos, no guides, just knowledge of their classes and attempting to not stand in bad.
The Stabbies team consisted of:

Hunter (Astrologian)
Ponyo (Dragoon)
N’tohj (Summoner)
Cerys Ninja)
Maximillion (Bard)
Haegar (Black Mage)
Kela (Scholar)

Though they did not clear the City in this first attempt, they’re gearing up to try again and snag that clear very soon. Watch the antics of the first attempts below!
