Brynhildr Server-Wide PvP night is rousing success

Our PvP revival night took place on Tuesday April 24th and began at 8:30pm central time and lasted two hours. We played several matches of 4 on 4 Feast and interfaced with the community. Combatants were as follows:

From the Academy:
Headmistress Kela, Korodi, Ricola, Rhoamer, Sylvis and Danye

From Brynhildr
Sierra Delacroix, Kyrina Mioda, Mima Sarima and Auron Valentine. Thank you so much for attending our event, especially Sierra who brought experience and an upbeat, helpful attitude, and Kyrina and Auron who were trying out PvP for the first time – hope you enjoyed it!

We also had several spectators from around the Primal Data Center, and probably other names who came and left throughout the evening. We hope to front more than one party next week so we can have less swapping/filling and more matches. We may also try Rival Wings if we can get a handful of small groups.

See you next week and thank you for your support Brynhildr!

I Believe I Can Fly: Rival Wings PvP

The newest addition to PvP is the League of Legends-like event called Rival Wings. The Stabbies, fittingly, ended up on the two opposing teams to take on the challenge for this week’s PvP Club! Will the Falcons swoop in with victory? Or will the Ravens steal the show? Find out below!

PvP Club: It’s Time to Duel!

For the first time ever, PvP Club was a tournament! Full of 1v1 duels, the Stabbies took on each other in a few bracketed tourneys to compete for glory and gil. The tournament featured double elimination, a losers bracket, and a 200k gil prize.

Club leader N’tohj set everything up and created brackets with a random generator, so blame RNJesus for the Scholar v Scholar match ups. Participants included Jairen, Nikko, and Mana with Kela and Kotone sweeping victory and splitting the prize money. Cheering them on and watching the duels were Caeci and Admiral Artbar.

Our adventurous Stabbies tested the PvP waters with many different roles, with varying degrees of success. Throughout the duels Scholar, Samurai, and Dark Knight proved to be the most formidable of opponents. Participants also tried out the powers of Monks, Bards, Paladins, and Warriors.

Want to be a part of the action? Join in next PvP Club, Friday 8:30pm CST, (raid schedule permitting) and find out who is the Stabbiest of the Stabbies.

PvP Club Reboot is Shattering Success thanks to Stormblood Overhaul

Our esteemed captain Prefect N’tojh led the Royal Academy to three victories and a draw during the first-ever meeting of the Stormblood PvP Club. Participating members included Kela, Ponyo, Gentry, Tiny Tee and Ravella. All games held were in frontline: shatter mode as freelancers.

The PvP club aims to introduce members to both Frontlines and Feast PvP modes in future, and help them learn how to handle their jobs in an incredibly competitive setting with a friendly team which will support you even as you learn. Ideally the club needs precisely a full party of eight to make the most impact and give the group access to the most modes. Please consider making PvP club part of your weekly FFXIV experience!

Thank you N’tojh for your leadership and congratulations on your resounding success!
