Chef Xiru is a Dark Knight main at ilvl 260 and has graciously volunteered to reorganize the Free Company Discord and manage member permissions and approve new members. Nymian Royal Academy celebrates Stormblood Early Access with Record Numbers!
The Nymian Royal Academy would like to personally thank and welcome everyone who logged in on patch day for Early Access to the second expansion of Final Fantasy XIV online: Stormblood! The Academy reached record online numbers of 26 members simultaneously, and the best part was we were all helping each other adjust to the new content, whether that was commiserating over the instanced server being down, or pairing tanks and healers with DPS to help them get in their leveling queues. Helpful information about new job actions and new jobs was also available to anyone who needed it.
In addition, over the past 48 hours we had 6-7 people join our academy from various recruitment sources. We are so thrilled that we are reaching new players – and encouraging veteran players to find a home with us so they can benefit from what we have to offer and give back to the community.
Our members are really what make our Free Company great. As excited as I am for the new expansion, the most thrilling thing about it is having such an awesome, solid team to work through it together.
Aquapolis Found: 4-Man Clear!
With everyone gearing up for Stormblood, only an intrepid few braved the depths of the Aquapolis this week. Chef Xiru tanked, keeping hate on everything, Ravella and N’Tohj provided strong dps while Sukutak kept everyone alive with mad heals. The group of 4 slogged through the depths of the Aquapolis, successfully defeating all of the monsters, including the dreaded Arges. The first few doors opened nicely on the first try, but then only through the divine intervention of Rainbow Jesus was the group able to progress to the final room where treasure and glory awaited them.
Thanks to careful pulls, epic dps, and a stance-dancing healer, the 4 were able to acquire tons of gil, glamour, crafting materials, materia, and much more! Join us Mondays at 8:30pm CST with your Timeworn Dragonskin Maps to take a stab at the treasures of the Aquapolis.
Headmistress Kela features in the June 2017 edition of the Moogle Post
Kela was approached by the creators of Eorzea Collection and asked to take screenshots featuring a glamour she submitted to the glamour website a few months ago after completing Alexander (Savage). After submitting the photos and weeks of impatiently waiting, the new June issue is out. Kela’s glamour has a full page and also the section title page of the most professional and popular fan magazine for FFXIV.

“Beginner’s” Palace Group clears Floor 50
One student and Palace of the Dead Junkie, Padfoot, offered a crash-course on the Deep Dungeon to those who had never experienced the content before. Over the course of two nights, Padfoot and friends Tearlei, George and Tiny Tee learned about Palace strategy, mechanics and pomander use. After a few hours of hard work, today they mastered floor 50, unlocking the deeper floors should the participants wish to take on the 200 Floor Challenge!
