All Left is All Right: Aquapolis Cleared!

Once again the Aquapolis luck continues! The strategy for reaching Chamber 7: Left doors and only left doors. With a couple of clutch Rainbow Jesus saves, Justin Moonsbane (master of the Left Door), Ravella, Chef Xiru, Kela, and N’tohj raided all the treasures the Aquapolis had to offer.

Additionally, almost every map dropped a portal to the Aquapolis so we had quite a few chances to get rich quick this week! Some of the loot recieved: an Owlet minion and a Gingko tree, along with tons of materia, crafting materials, and cold. hard. gil. Join us next Monday, 8:30 CST for the next raid on the Aquapolis. Are you feeling lucky?

PvP Club Reboot is Shattering Success thanks to Stormblood Overhaul

Our esteemed captain Prefect N’tojh led the Royal Academy to three victories and a draw during the first-ever meeting of the Stormblood PvP Club. Participating members included Kela, Ponyo, Gentry, Tiny Tee and Ravella. All games held were in frontline: shatter mode as freelancers.

The PvP club aims to introduce members to both Frontlines and Feast PvP modes in future, and help them learn how to handle their jobs in an incredibly competitive setting with a friendly team which will support you even as you learn. Ideally the club needs precisely a full party of eight to make the most impact and give the group access to the most modes. Please consider making PvP club part of your weekly FFXIV experience!

Thank you N’tojh for your leadership and congratulations on your resounding success!

Aquapolis Found: 4-Man Clear!

With everyone gearing up for Stormblood, only an intrepid few braved the depths of the Aquapolis this week. Chef Xiru tanked, keeping hate on everything, Ravella and N’Tohj provided strong dps while Sukutak kept everyone alive with madĀ heals. The group of 4 slogged through the depths of the Aquapolis, successfully defeating all of the monsters, including the dreaded Arges. The first few doors opened nicely on the first try, but then only through the divine intervention of Rainbow Jesus was the group able to progress to the final room where treasure and glory awaited them.

Thanks to careful pulls, epic dps, and a stance-dancing healer, the 4 were able to acquire tons of gil, glamour, crafting materials, materia, and much more! Join us Mondays at 8:30pm CST with your Timeworn Dragonskin Maps to take a stab at the treasures of the Aquapolis.

“Beginner’s” Palace Group clears Floor 50

One student and Palace of the Dead Junkie, Padfoot, offered a crash-course on the Deep Dungeon to those who had never experienced the content before. Over the course of two nights, Padfoot and friends Tearlei, George and Tiny Tee learned about Palace strategy, mechanics and pomander use. After a few hours of hard work, today they mastered floor 50, unlocking the deeper floors should the participants wish to take on the 200 Floor Challenge!

Congratulations to all involved and best of luck in future spelunking!

FATE Club Launches to Huge Success; Two Recruits

Congratulations to Prefect Korodi and company as they hosted the first weekly FATE grind club this Saturday starting at 7:30pm. The event was scheduled to end at 8:30pm but actually continued until 10 o’clock, with members coming and going as they pleased, chatting in the discord voice chat, gaining experience on alternative jobs and basically having an awesome time.

The FATE club began in Eastern La Noscea and later progressed to Central Coerthas. Many members were leveling jobs in the level 30 range and several gained as many as three levels over the course of the evening. We sponsored two parties and had as many as twelve people between our parties, however there were also other parties running in tandem with ours for a total of over twenty people at a time.

We took on both “It’s not Lupus” and “The Eyes Have It”, extremely challenging boss fates in both areas and we emerged each time victorious after thrilling, challenging, large-scale battles.

Last, but certainly not the least exciting was the addition of two new recruits: Dragonknight Artorias and Hunter Breeze. Both left previous free companies looking for a better group, so make sure to make them feel welcome as you’re able.

If you would like to participate in FATE/recruitment club, please join us next week at the same time, Saturday 7:30pm CST.
