FATE Club Launches to Huge Success; Two Recruits

Congratulations to Prefect Korodi and company as they hosted the first weekly FATE grind club this Saturday starting at 7:30pm. The event was scheduled to end at 8:30pm but actually continued until 10 o’clock, with members coming and going as they pleased, chatting in the discord voice chat, gaining experience on alternative jobs and basically having an awesome time.

The FATE club began in Eastern La Noscea and later progressed to Central Coerthas. Many members were leveling jobs in the level 30 range and several gained as many as three levels over the course of the evening. We sponsored two parties and had as many as twelve people between our parties, however there were also other parties running in tandem with ours for a total of over twenty people at a time.

We took on both “It’s not Lupus” and “The Eyes Have It”, extremely challenging boss fates in both areas and we emerged each time victorious after thrilling, challenging, large-scale battles.

Last, but certainly not the least exciting was the addition of two new recruits: Dragonknight Artorias and Hunter Breeze. Both left previous free companies looking for a better group, so make sure to make them feel welcome as you’re able.

If you would like to participate in FATE/recruitment club, please join us next week at the same time, Saturday 7:30pm CST.

Korodi and Kela feature in Producer Yoshida’s Birthday Book

Recently, Headmistress Kela participated in a screenshot contest for Valentine’s Day through the Brynhildr Facebook Group. While the screenshot did not win said contest, apparently the owner of the Facebook Group (IGN Thancred Tsukino – normally seen dancing near the retainer bell in idyllshire) took a liking to it and chose to use it to represent Brynhildr server’s birthday wishes to Yoshi-P. It takes up the top-half of page 202.

Happy Birthday Yoshi-P and thanks for everything, From the Nymian Royal Academy of Brynhildr

The Return of Good Luck: Stabbies Clear Aquapolis

Welcome to our newest member Richshin Ardoda, who on his first attempt at a Dragonskin Map not only opened the ward to Aquapolis but reached the final chamber, breaking our months long bad-luck spell.

Everyone involved received tomes of scripture, gil, shards, materia, glamour and crafting materials. Congratulations to all!

Palace of the Dead Challenge Continues

This week witnessed several exciting events as our teams continue to get punished by the Deep Dungeon.

Team N’KKK suffered a devastating loss to the floor 170 boss, but after researching their mistake they restarted in good spirits at floor 51 with a new party composition: Paladin, Scholar and two Summoners. Raises for days! They completed to floor 71.

Team CPLS managed to arrive at floor 161 today, clearing the 150 and 160 boss rooms. Hopefully they have better luck on the 170 floor boss next week and have a shot at ending all of our suffering.

The most exciting development, however, was the introduction of a new group of contenders. George, Ravella, Richshin and Maximillion compose our third team of challengers: Team GRRM (affectionately referred to as Team Game of Thones, which serves the dual purpose of sounding awesome and reminding us all that anyone can die at anytime). Team GRRM ran floors 1-10 several times for gear and completed to floor 31 beginning next week.

The first team to 200 wins the 4,000,000 Gil prize. May the best any team win (please, anyone)!

Housing Upgrade Fundraiser Contest: End of Month

Hello everyone!

This post is just to let you know the current standings for the Housing Contest as of close of day on April 30, 2017.

For those who may not know, the Royal Academy is looking to upgrade from a Medium House to a Large Mansion when the Shirogane Housing district is releasing in the Stormblood Expansion, likely sometime during the month of July. Our goal is 50 Million Gil in the FC chest for this purpose. Any member who matches or exceeds Headmistress Kela’s total contribution by the time the house is purchased will receive free crafted furniture from Kela for life.

Here are the current standings:

Currently Kela leads the standings by a threshold of less that 100k gil with a total contribution exceeding 10 million gil. Professor Ponyo is practically neck and neck and is a very good candidate to win the prize offered. Prefect N’tojh is third, encroaching quickly upon 6 million gil contributed.

Considering that we have likely over two months until the contest ends, it really is anyone’s game still. Any money exceeding the goal will be applied towards the building permit and furnishing the yard and commons space or, if in excess of that, will be returned to those that donated money proportional to their contribution. So please don’t be afraid to go over the 50 million gil goal if you’re trying to win the prize, your generosity is welcomed and Kela has no problem making furniture for all!

Thank you for your generosity and good luck Stabbies!
