Just a quick announcement that we are welcoming our fourth professor to the Free Company. Chef Xiru is a Dark Knight main at ilvl 260 and has graciously volunteered to reorganize the Free Company Discord and manage member permissions and approve new members. Thank you Xiru for taking on this project for the free company!

Incoming Faculty: Ponyo and Luna
Just a quick update on our two new professors.
Professor Ponyo Amasawa will be responsible for creating guide content for the first thirty levels of play for all classes. Her guides can be found under the guide tab of the menu of the main page and will seek to answer new player’s questions about their chosen role within FFXIV gameplay. She is also an accomplished Dragoon with an Alexander: Savage clear.
Also introducing Professor Luna Arianrhod. She has volunteered to develop and publish mechanics lists including diagrams for difficult content, beginning with Extreme Primals. She will also be producing free-company wide uniform strategies that will ensure everyone seeking to run this content with an FC group has a single point of reference for the preferred strategy. She plays both Dragoon and White mage proficiently and is working on her Warrior. Her accomplishments include leading members of the Free Company to victory in Thordan Ex and Sephirot Ex.

Incoming Faculty: Sukutak Amasawa
It is my great pleasure to introduce formerly Prefect Sukutak as our first official Professor.
The requirements for Professorship are ilvl 255 on a battle class or i180 on a crafting or gathering class, and volunteer support responsibilities which can either be 1) writing guides 2) teaching content to members in-game or 3) recruitment time.
Sukutak has offered not only to research and post Job guide summaries on the website, but has also generously purchased our new domain xivacademy.com, which we will be relocating too very soon. He is also an i265 WHM and an accomplished gatherer.
Additional immediate candidates included Prefects Luna and Ponyo, who meet the ilvl requirements but have yet to decide on a volunteer opportunity. We look forward to having promote them very soon.
